Classic Shed Options: Exterior & Trim

Trim and exterior appearance packages for our Classic post and beam sheds

All of our classic post and beam sheds come standard with rough sawn pine trim and board and batten siding. We offer the following trim and siding options for our building kits.

If you want to use a different siding on your building, you can always add it at a later date by removing the battens and applying clapboards or shingle siding.

Many of our building kit customers simply stain the exterior of the building with a solid color stain. Some use something like CWF to seal the exterior and retain the pine wood color which will weather to a grayish color.

Pre-primed smooth trim with second member, vinyl opening window with vinyl louvered shutters, smooth window box and brackets and choice of steel door or beadboard pine door with hinges. (Images here show clapboard and shingle siding on front wall, which is not included. See Deluxe Appearance package for front wall siding options.)

Includes natural/primed red cedar clapboard or white cedar shingles on the front wall only! Pre-primed smooth trim with second member, vinyl opening window(s) with louvered vinyl shutters, smooth window box and brackets, steel door with decorative strap hinges.

Quantity:

Get a copper topped cupola to top off your post and beam shed.
Cupola sizing rule of thumb: 1” of cupola for every 1’ of ridge length
